JM Robotics, based in Kristiansund, has supplied underwater drones to Norwegian fish farmers for several years. Now, the company is opening the door to new markets outside Norway's borders.
Leiv Erling Grytten, Commercial Director at JM Robotics, tells Kyst.no that the company has entered into a partnership with Underwater Contracting in Scotland, which has already ordered a double-digit number of ROV systems. In addition, JM Robotics has delivered a custom-built ROV to the University of Rhode Island.
The Kristiansund-based company also has several other international projects underway.
